Introduction to Mindfulness

Overview: Welcome to this 5-minute introduction to mindfulness meditation. By mindfulness, I mean that this practice is about getting very present to our experience just as it is in this moment—without trying to fix anything, or change anything, or figure anything out. You don’t need any previous experience with mindfulness, and it’s also ok if you’ve tried meditation in the past but struggled with it. You can do this practice sitting on a chair or cushion, standing up, or even lying down if that would feel good in your body.
